What if You Could See Your Future?
I have a book on my shelf with an inscription that still makes me smile.
To Stephanie. Love, Brian.
That’s Brian Weiss, MD, as in the Brian Weiss. The psychiatrist who blew up the entire Western medical establishment in 1988 when he published Many Lives, Many Masters and essentially said, out loud, in print, with his Yale credentials fully attached: reincarnation is real, I’ve seen it, and it heals people.
His colleagues were not thrilled. His patients kept getting better. He kept writing books.
I trained with him in 2004, right at the moment he’d just finished Same Soul, Many Bodies — the book that cracked open something I hadn’t fully considered before. Not just past lives. Future lives.
Probable future lives, to be exact. And that distinction matters more than you might think.
WAIT. FUTURE LIVES?
Here’s where people’s brains usually do a little skip.
Most people who find their way to past life regression work are looking backward. They want to understand why they keep choosing the wrong partners, why money feels like a force field they can’t penetrate, and why anxiety shows up uninvited every single morning at 3 am. And looking backward is genuinely useful. I do it with clients every week.
But Brian’s insight in Same Soul, Many Bodies was this: you can also look forward. You can glimpse probable future lives based on the soul’s trajectory, based on the choices you’re making right now. And when you see that? When you actually experience, in a relaxed hypnotic state, who you might become if you keep going the way you’re going?
It is a rather effective wake-up call.
THE POINT OF POWER IS RIGHT NOW
This is where it gets quantum. Literally.
Quantum physics tells us that the present moment is the only place where anything actually changes. The past is fixed. The future is probable, not predetermined. Which means the choices you make today, not tomorrow, not when things calm down, not when you finally feel ready, are the ones shaping what comes next in this life and beyond it.
The Point of Power Stays in the Immediate Present.
Nobody fully understands quantum physics. I certainly don’t claim to. But the principle is elegant, and it’s this: now is where the power lives. Not in the story about what happened to you. Not in the anxiety about what might happen. Right here. This moment. This choice.
That’s not a motivational poster. That’s physics.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN A SESSION
When I work with clients using future life progression, we’re not fortune-telling. I want to be clear about that. We’re not reading a fixed script of what will happen.
We’re accessing the subconscious mind’s own wisdom about where current patterns are leading. And the subconscious, it turns out, is not subtle. It will show you, with remarkable clarity, the version of your future self who kept repeating the same patterns, and the version who didn’t.
Clients come in stuck and stuck in the same argument with the same kind of person and stuck in the same self-sabotage loop at work. Stuck in grief, or anxiety, or a life that fits like someone else’s shoes.
They leave with something different. Not just insight. They have felt knowledge. The nervous system is kind. The kind that actually changes behavior because it bypasses the part of your brain that’s been running the old program.
That’s what hypnotherapy does. That’s why it works when other things haven’t.
I STILL HAVE THE BOOK
Same Soul, Many Bodies. Sitting on my shelf, signed by a man who risked everything to tell the truth about what he’d witnessed in his practice.
I think about that sometimes when a client walks in looking exhausted and a little embarrassed about being there at all, and not sure whether to believe any of this, not sure whether they’re allowed to want more than the life they’ve got.
Brian Weiss risked his entire career because he believed his clients deserved the truth. I think about that.
You deserve the truth, too. And the truth is: you are not stuck. You are just in the middle of the story. And the next chapter depends almost entirely on what you decide to do right now.
READY TO SEE WHAT’S POSSIBLE?
If any part of this is landing for you, or if you’ve been curious about past life regression, future life progression, or just why you keep doing that one thing you really wish you’d stop doing, I’d love to talk. Call me: (323) 933-4377
Sending hope,
Stephanie
