Are You a Prisoner of Shame?

Do You Feel Guilty For No Reason?

Have you ever felt a deep, gnawing feeling that you’ve done something wrong, and you don’t know what it is?  Does shame affect your decisions and relationships, and steal your happiness?

If you’re ready to break out of prison, hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Past Life Regression can free you and help you heal.

Shame can be a powerful, yet invisible force, and sometimes its roots lie not in this lifetime but in a past one.

Because I trained with Dr. Brian Weiss, author of the groundbreaking book “Healing Through Time,” I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformational power of his revolutionary techniques.  Like my own book, “Love From Both Sides – A True Story of Reincarnation,” Weiss’s book proves that death is a transformation and that the soul is eternal.  His book recounts many lives healed through hypnosis and regression therapy.  Using his techniques, I’ve helped hundreds of people heal.

Finding the source of these feelings is fundamental in healing.  Years ago, a bright, sassy redhead named Cindy came to see me because she could not shake her feelings of shame.  It felt as if she’d done something so bad, and that she deserved to be punished.

Cindy and her husband Matt created an online cannabis business years before it became legal in California.  Even though she knew what they did helped people, she couldn’t shake the guilt associated with their work.  Her shame became so debilitating that it made it hard for her to keep going forward.  She knew her feelings were crazy, and she wanted help.

Through regression therapy, using hypnosis, we uncovered the source of her overwhelming shame.  Deeply buried in a past-life experience, we discovered the life that triggered her present-day struggles.  In her previous life, Cindy saw herself as a teenager, an 18-year-old German submarine sailor.  His job was to search for enemy ships with his periscope, but it was so boring that he lost focus.  On a sunny, calm day on the never-changing horizon, he wasn’t paying attention until he saw a U.S. destroyer directly overhead, now dropping its lethal depth charges.

In that intense moment of panic, everyone in the submarine stared at him with such hatred, because they knew he hadn’t done his only job.  They knew they would all die, and they blamed him.  He, too, knew it was all his fault.  He died, buried in the shame that now affected Cindy’s whole life.

Once Cindy was able to access this painful past-life memory and understand its impact on her own life, the next and most important step was to offer compassion and forgiveness to her freighted past-life self.  She saw that 18-year-old teenager for who he was — just a kid pulled out of high school and stuck in a war he didn’t start.  She felt such compassion, forgiveness, and sorrow for him.  Because of that, she was able to release all that buried shame that had held her prisoner for so long.

Her transformation was remarkable.  Cindy’s feelings of shame dissolved completely, and she and her husband moved forward with their business, which became incredibly successful.  They rode on the crest of the tidal wave of cannabis suppliers when the laws changed, and marijuana became legal in California.

Cindy’s story is a powerful testament to the healing power of hypnotherapy and past life regression.  It shows how bringing buried memories to the surface of consciousness can produce profound healing.  If you feel as if you’re a prisoner to shame, know that there are proven pathways to healing.

Along with cognitive behavior therapy, regression therapy can free you from the sorrow of self-destructive shame.
