Do You Believe in Magic?

Magnetize and Manifest Your Dreams!

Do you want to magnetize your dreams, manifest your future, and learn how to unlock your blocked energy? Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Modification, Awareness Therapy, and Past Life regression can be the magical keys that will make a difference in your life.

How? First, magic can only happen when you discover what you truly believe. And if you have negative beliefs about yourself, those negative beliefs will stop you in your tracks.

Second, once you’ve uncovered the problem, you’ll need to learn how to believe in yourself.   What? That’s a skill set? You bet!

To begin to change your belief system, you must be mindful, or aware, of exactly where you are now and what you are physically doing.

Ask:  What are your habits of thinking? Habits of doing? Or habits of believing? As my clients hear on the MP3s I make for them, “The point of power is in the present, and your life happens one moment at a time, one choice at a time.”

That’s why mindful therapy, awareness therapy, and cognitive behavior modification can change your life. They change your thinking, beliefs, and brain—it’s neuroscience and quantum physics all in one.

But it’s not as simple as using a magic wand or as fun as a hit of LSD, a blast of psilocybin, or an awesome week of Ayahuasca.

Although all of those can be helpful and insightful and might crack open “the doors of perception,” they might not, and the effects might not last.

For me? Those doors opened wide when I was 18. Back then, when The Doors belted their psychedelic songs, everything seemed possible. LSD wasn’t illegal yet, and a friend, a chemistry major at UCLA, produced a batch of acid, and we all got high. When the trees talk to you, and you feel like you are “One with All That Is,” you know you’re on acid.

Different times, to say the least. In those days, a defrocked Harvard professor, Timothy Leary, told everyone to “Tune in, turn on and drop out.” Many of my Berkeley friends took that message seriously; unfortunately, it didn’t work out well for many people. For example, Terence McKenna, of “Food of the Gods,” fame was at Berkeley with me, and his end wasn’t great – a brain tumor from blasting too many chemical compounds into his extremely adventurous noggin. I knew him at 21 as a tall, skinny redhead who dropped out and moved to the British Seychelles.

Back to you and how you must believe in magic to manifest and magnetize your dreams.

Lately, I have suggested that clients listen to “Into The Magic Shop” by James R. Doty, MD. His story resonates with what belief in magic can accomplish. As a going-nowhere teenager, he stumbled into a magic shop where he met a woman, much like me. She taught him how to meditate (mindfulness), decide what he wanted to do in life, create a plan of action (change his habits), and then walk toward his goals with faith, fearlessness, and follow through. He used hypnosis and lots of hard work. Most of all, she taught him to never take “no” for an answer. To find a way to say “Yes!”

Discover what your own hidden beliefs tell you. Listen to your thoughts, and hear what you’re thinking. (Awareness)

What if your thoughts tell you that you’re not worth fighting for? Or perhaps your life is meaningless, and you have no talent? That’s just your negative brain or the shadow side speaking. You’ve got to argue and win!

If you don’t argue, those nasty thoughts become ruminating, obsessive-compulsive thoughts (OCD,) and they create grooves in your brain. On top of that, they change the chemistry balance in your body. And presto! You’re completely depressed, defeated, discouraged. You have no zest for life, no energy, no sex drive. No fun. Don’t do that!

Believe that you are worth fighting for. Believe that you can create the life you want. Brian Weiss, MD, my kindhearted teacher, thought his world had ended when he was fired from his mighty job as head of psychiatry at Mt. Sinai in Miami. But his real life’s work had just begun because he opened to the mystical and magical universe.

My own life fell completely apart when my husband died and left me $180,000 in debt. I was forced to open to magic and believe that my dead husband chatted to me from “In Between.” I wrote the book: “Love from Both Sides,” A Story of Soul Survival and Reincarnation,” I changed my life and work and became the authentic me.

Your only job is to become the authentic you. Believe in magic – it’s a superpower!
