Suffering From a Bad Boyfriend or Boss?
Have you ever had a bad boyfriend or a bad boss? Do you still have ruminating thoughts that take you back into the abuse? If so, you might have fallen prey to a psychopath, just like I did.
That is why I’m such an expert on this fascinating subject. I have read every book on the topic, so let me share just a few nuggets of wisdom gleaned.
Healing from psychopathic abuse takes time, but hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Modification, and Past Life Regression can free you.
First, if it’s a lover, either male or female, let’s talk about psychopathic abuse—people like me who’ve encountered it know that psychopaths are charming but ruthless. Dr. Robert Hare, a leading expert on psychopathy, emphasizes the coldness and lack of empathy in these folks. It’s like getting caught in a web of lies you never saw coming and had no defense against.
If you’re like me, you’re a spiritual person and think most people are good. Sorry, guys, but there’s evil in the world, and it’s people who lie. F. Scott Peck’s “People Who Lie” tells chilling tales about the destructive impact these individuals can have.
Their techniques vary, but first, they “love bomb” you with compliments, making you feel safe. Then, slowly, they begin to gnaw at your very being with subtle critiques, and then they toss you away. Once they have drained you dry, they’ll go off to find another victim. They leave you feeling like you’ve just been run over by a Mack truck.
What to do?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can provide you with the tools to transform your thoughts. You’ll learn to recognize negative beliefs, challenge, and change your destructive thought patterns. I can help you understand that you’ve been gaslighted and manipulated just to make a narcissist feel good. It’s how narcissists/psychopaths entertain themselves. They have no conscience, no moral code or compass, actually no morals at all. “Without Conscience,” Robert Hare’s groundbreaking book on these people, explains it all.
Hypnotherapy helps you dive into your subconscious mind and allows you to release the trauma anchored deep below the surface. By learning to enter a calm, trance-like state, you can unlock memories and emotions that hide deep within the recesses of buried childhood memories.
For me? Because two charming psychopaths raised me, I was a perfect target. Some of my clients, who, like me, had abusive parents, have no defense. Sometimes, clients keep re-creating abusive relationships because of an unconscious need to change the past. With hypnotherapy, I can help you find ways to open the door to old memories, and that will help you begin your own healing.
Past-life regression and Forward Life Progression can provide you with insights far beyond what your frontal lobes can reveal, as seen in one of my clients, who discovered in a past life that she was an angry Samurai Warrior. In that ancient life, she massacred a whole village; she saw that she’d killed most of her present-day family! That experience allowed her to release her lifelong, buried rage.
When I worked with Brian Weiss, MD, the famous psychiatrist who trained me, I saw myself as a handsome Incan Priest whose job it was to behead a conquered king. I pulled the king’s head up by his thick black hair and gasped, “Oh my god! It’s my mother!” Then, I understood why she never loved me! That made me laugh, it explained it all, and in laughter comes healing. It changed my perspective completely.
Whether you believe in past lives or not, it doesn’t matter. These sessions can help heal unprocessed trauma. You might see it as metaphorical or literal, but these techniques can lead to emotional freedom. Freedom from OCD, depression, and anxiety.
I also use neuroscience to help people heal. The newest brain science reveals how psychopathic interactions can physically alter your brain. James Fallows, PhD, who wrote “The Psychopath Inside,” reminds us that not all psychopaths are stuck inside prisons. They can be leaders of cults, religions, or countries. They use their cunning and strategic manipulation for personal gain. Robert Hare’s checklist for psychopathy includes charm, deceitfulness, emotional shallowness, and the ability to charm a dedicated base with distortions and outright lies. Creating outrage is the tool they find most effective. All cult leaders must manipulate and brainwash followers so that they will drink the Kool-Aid.
If you were raised in a religious cult that told you that your body was sinful, or that because you’re gay, you’re evil, or because you’re a woman, you are less than a man, then it’s time to break free.
So, if you’re ready to rewire your brain and claim your freedom, please give me a call at (323) 933-4377
Sending you love,
Stephanie
