How Hypnotherapy, CBT, and Past Life Regression Can Transform Your Life!

Do you feel stuck? Overwhelmed by anxiety and in the grip of obsessive thoughts?

If so, you’re not alone, and there’s a path to rapid, profound healing waiting for you.

Can you imagine reclaiming your peace of mind, confidence, and courage? This isn’t a far-off dream. You can learn a doable skill set and discover the courage to change, just like my client Amelia.

Her story isn’t about struggle, but about a profound and lasting transformation. Amelia, just 18, was terrified to go off to college. A tall, lean, flaxen-haired beauty, with an impish laugh, she looked as if she had it all. Unfortunately, she’d recently been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus. Besides that, she said she felt a deep, gnawing shame, and she never felt safe. Tortured by her own ruminating thoughts, she was ready to change.

In her first session, I taught her how to use CBT techniques and explained that she could rewire her brain and delete her self-sabotaging thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors.

She did her homework, listened to the hypnosis recording, and came back for her second session. In the second session, I taught her a Jungian technique that helped her access her subconscious mind. She learned how to meditate and created a “mindful” approach to her day-to-day life. Now she was ready for the regression work.

In her first regression, Amelia saw a life in Sweden, as a woman, in the 1700s. In that past lifetime, she saw herself raped by a man.   She recognized him as her older half-sister in this lifetime. (We go around with the same 200 souls, according to Brian Weiss, MD.)

It explained why she’d never liked her sister. However, that lifetime didn’t explain the source of all her current-life anxiety. We quickly moved on to another lifetime. In that life, she saw herself as an Italian boy, born to a poor mother, in Rome. His mother worked in a bakery, but she had no husband. Amelia didn’t recognize her mother as anyone she knew in this lifetime; she just knew that her boy-self was abused, unloved, and that he had to fend for himself very early on.

Because he was essentially an orphan, he joined the Italian Mafia. There, he thrived and did whatever his new family needed. He worked as an enforcer and a killer. When I asked her to look at the others she worked with, she saw the gang leader as her mother, Martha, in this lifetime. Amelia, in that lifetime, a fellow Mafia guy killed her, and she died fat and ravished covered in gangster bling.

I was about to take her up to the In Between, but she said, “Stop! I see it! This is it! I see the life!

“Where are you?” I asked.

“I’m a little boy. My parents are monsters! They’ve locked me in a closet, and they torture me! My father’s a disgusting, mean alcoholic, and my chain-smoking mother sexually abuses me!”

“Do you recognize them as anyone in this lifetime?”

“Not really. But I think they are people I killed in that Italian Mafia life. They’re awful!”

“What happens next?”

“This is horrid! I seem to have lost my mind. I know I’ve lost my soul. I grew up twisted and angry. I want to kill and torture just for the sake of it. I’m a serial killer. I have no conscience whatsoever. I think my brain broke. I can see myself as this smelly, creepy sixty-year-old man, in a dark, dingy den. I’m wearing ’70s glasses and a brightly colored button-down shirt. Oh, I’m creepy, all right. I die of a lethal injection, but it feels as if I rot away.”

When Amelia came back to room awareness, she “knew” that was the life that caused her anxiety and made her feel ashamed all the time. I didn’t have time to take her to The Tribunal, which is where all killers must go, to “hear” what kind of amends must be made in this lifetime. In that lifetime, she had the brain of a psychopath. James Fallon’s book “The Psychopath Inside” is a riveting read on the subject. Psychopaths are not always killers, and they are among us. They have no moral compass, no compassion, and no conscience. All they want is power.

For Amelia, I wanted to see her again so we could find a lifetime where she rocked!

In her next regression, she saw a life as a Portuguese boy, born into poverty but strong and fierce. It’s the 1600s, and he’s scrambling to find work on the big ships.

“What’s happening now?” I asked.

“I’m much older now. I’ve been at sea for years. I love it. It’s my life. But we’re caught in a great storm. Waves as tall as mountains wash up onto the decks. It’s freezing! Gale-force winds will capsize us soon!   The ship’s going down if I don’t shimmy up the rigging to secure the sails. I could get killed, and I know it. But I don’t care. The younger guys don’t know how to do this. It’s our only chance. I’ve got to do this!

“What happens next?”

“Wow! I did it! I managed to go from rigging to rigging and tie back these huge sails. I’m so strong!”

“Find your captain,” I said.

Amelia laughed. “It’s my mother! Why am I not surprised?”

Then I asked Amelia to go to the end of that lifetime, and she died at sea in yet another storm—a sailor’s death. And then we went to the “In Between” to see how her soul group greeted her.

“They’re applauding me!”

“Yes, good job done!” I said. “Now I want you to take a mental snapshot of this and let it remind you of how courageous you are, okay? Going off to college is no big deal after that lifetime, right?”

After that, I soul-linked her to her guide, and she went off to have an amazing first year of college.

Now, for me, what was so fun about that session was that when I had worked with her mother, Martha, she, too, had lived as a Portuguese ship’s captain in the 1600s. That ship went down, as many ships did, and she died at sea, just like Amelia.

Both mother and daughter experienced the exact same lifetime, and both died as heroes. In this lifetime, they encourage each other and love each other. They are both here to make a difference in the world – a dynamic duo!

We are all here to help each other – sometimes the “help” comes in different ways. Sometimes those “ways” challenge us to grow, whether we want to or not!

You can learn to own your courage now. You can choose to be brave and learn to take chances and create your own happiness, or you can choose to take the predictable path and live a life of “quiet desperation.”  It’s up to you. Completely. You have control.

No one gets out of this lifetime alive, right? Look back on your life, and ask yourself if you will be proud of the life you’ve lived. If the answer is “no,” then take charge of your life and change it!

For over two decades, I’ve helped people like you heal from depression and anxiety and find lasting happiness. If you’re ready to explore the depths of your own being and unlock your potential, don’t wait. You can rewrite your story and step into your most vibrant creative self.
