Love What You Do

When you love what you do you feel alive, happy, and fulfilled.  You radiate joy and magnetize opportunities to you.  Is it always easy?  No.  I’ve had my share of “bad” jobs.  When I was an actress in New York, I drove a cab in Manhattan (the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, too) for seven years.

Did I love that job?  No, but in retrospect, it trained me for the job I do now, in a very weird way.  I learned to be fearless.  I learned to trust my gut.  I learned that people are mostly amazing and wonderful.  Also, it gave freedom because I only drove weekend nights.

So, if you’re not doing a job that you “love” – love it anyway.  Find something to love about it.  Know that you are a special, unique person and you have a meaningful contribution to make to the world.  There is a reason you incarnated onto the planet.  When you are doing that work, you are following your higher path.
